INTACH & Nepal Art Council signed a MoU on 9th Dec 2022 at an event organized in Aloft Hotel, Kathmandu. Mr Udaya Rana, Hon’ble Member of Parliament was the Chief Guest at the event and Mr Suresh Shrestha, Jt. Secretary (Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation) graced the occasion along with Government of Nepal and Government of India officials.
Under the MOU the two institutions will work in a wide range of art–cultural heritage conservation related activities in the built and material heritage as well as heritage education. Mr Nilabh Sinha highlighted the challenges that need to be addressed in the context of heritage conservation & potential for furthering the collaboration between INTACH and NAC and also highlighted the scope & road map for the collaboration.
